The Nurse Labor and Delivery will report directly to the Nurse Manager of the Labor and Delivery Unit. You will work closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to patients throughout labor and delivery.
The Labor and Delivery Unit is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where the focus is on providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers and their newborns. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support both routine and high-risk deliveries. As a Nurse Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the progress of labor, providing emotional and physical support to patients throughout their labor and delivery experience, administering medications and interventions as needed, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Additionally, you will assist with deliveries, educate patients and their families about labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
The Nurse Labor and Delivery will hold a RN license and possess strong communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a compassionate approach to patient care are essential.
